Fabrication is a highly skillful trade that requires many hours of training. You can learn faster if you are more familiar with fabrication of metal. The following video will explain certain tips metal fabricators bring to their everyday tasks.

The initial tip on the screen is how you can determine the centre of a circle of metal. The tools you will need are the pencil marker as well as bigger squares as opposed to the circle. Line with the center of your square with the edge of your circle. Do it once more and then use the straight edge to connect two marks. The two lines will connect and indicate the center in the circular area.

The next tip helps you find a hole with Template paper. If you’re connecting doors on an old piece you won’t be able to spot the holes in the current piece. Attach a piece of template paper on top of the holes, then poke holes through the paper at the location where the holes have been. Put the door underneath the template paper , and then trace it using a sharpie marker.
